Position : Full-Time Dental Assistant
Location : River Landing Dentistry, Mt. Pleasant and Daniel Island
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist Dentists : Support the dental team during procedures, including preparation of materials, and ensuring all necessary tools are ready.
- Patient Care : Make patients feel comfortable and at ease, provide detailed explanations of procedures, and maintain a compassionate and attentive attitude.
- X-Rays & Records : Take high-quality X-rays, maintain accurate patient records, and assist with charting and documentation.
- Sterilization & Safety : Follow stringent infection control and sterilization procedures to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
- Administrative Duties : Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and handle billing and insurance processing as needed.
- Team Collaboration : Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth office operations and provide exceptional care.
Qualifications :
- Certification : Current Dental Assistant certification and / or relevant experience preferred.
- Skills : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Attitude : A genuine passion for dentistry and a commitment to making a positive impact on our patients’ lives.
