Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med / Surg night shift position, requiring a WY or compact RN license and at least 2 years of recent Med / Surg experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a hospital Med / Surg unit serving adult patients
  • Night shift schedule from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
  • Assignment is for a 6-week contract
  • Staff must clock in and out using the electronic timekeeping system
  • All Med / Surg RNs are required to have PALS certification
  • A 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate
  • Employees must have officially resigned from any previous HealthTrust-related permanent positions to be eligible
  • No Canadian SINs will be accepted
  • First-time travelers are eligible to apply

    • Requirements

  • Active WY or compact RN license required at time of consideration
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg nursing experience required
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (RCIS, RQI, and expiring certifications within the first 30 days are not accepted)
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
  • Must provide full US SSN and date of birth for consideration
  • Must not be currently permanently employed at any HealthTrust-affiliated location
