About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Telemetry Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 19 : 00-07 : 00 Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum of 2 years License : Registered Nurse License Certifications : - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have : - ACLS certification Job Description : - Provide care in a 29-bed cardiac unit with focus on teamwork and customer service.
- Work with a night shift team including 1 charge nurse, 5 telemetry nurses, and 3 step-down nurses.- Maintain patient ratios of 4 : 1 on telemetry and 3 : 1 on step-down.
- Utilize Meditech electronic medical records system.- Perform typical procedures such as recovering cath lab patients, including those with stents, pacemakers, mitraclips, micrapacers, and valve replacements.
- Manage cardiac drips and care for heart failure patients.- Float to other cardiac units and medical-surgical areas as needed.
- Wear specified scrub colors : Galaxy blue, Ceil blue, black, and red.- Work every other weekend, no on-call shifts.
