Job Description

  • Represent employers in employment litigation matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation claims, wage and hour disputes, class and collective actions, and federal / state employment law compliance
  • Draft motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda
  • Conduct legal research and manage discovery processes
  • Handle depositions and witness interviews
  • Advise employers on employment law compliance, including ADA, FMLA, CFRA, and COVID-related regulations, as well as disability accommodations and leave policies
  • Potential to engage in labor relations, such as labor negotiations, grievances, and arbitrations

Qualifications

  • 4-7 years of substantive experience in employment litigation
  • Strong understanding of California employment law
  • Experience with legal research, drafting, and discovery management
  • Trial or arbitration experience preferred
  • Ability to provide sound advice on federal and state labor laws
  • Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills
  • Admission to the California Bar required
