Insight Global is looking for a certified Backhoe Operator to support a large-scale federal construction project in Dale Country, AL.
This person will be an instrumental part of the team and assist in the major excavations and foundation work for the renovation project.
Must Haves :
- Backhoe certification valid for several months.
- 3-5+ YOE in medium to large scale construction projects. Commercial, industrial, or military will suffice. Strictly residential will not.
- 3-5+ YOE in excavation using a backhoe and bucket
- Must have a clean background and ability to obtain a federal base access and DBIDs card.

- Ability and willingness for travel
Day to Day :
- Operates a backhoe machine to dig trenches, holes and foundations as well as load and transport materials
- Opening and closing buckets, raising and lowering the boom, digging, lifting, and dumping dirt, concrete and asphalt.
- Must demonstrate the ability to operate the Backhoe, must demonstrate excellent safety awareness, and a willingness to comply with company policy and safety standards.
- Effective communication with other operators, truck drivers, and the general public is critical.
