Salary : GS 13 $117,962.00 - $153,354.00

Full Performance Level : GS-13

As of 10 / 01 / 2021, the MAPA career ladder has changed and is no longer a GS-7 / 9 / 11 / 12 / 13. TSC Mission and Vision Statement

The TSC's mission is to consolidate the U.S. Government's approach to national security screening and provide for the appropriate and lawful use of identity information in screening processes while protecting privacy and safeguarding civil liberties.

The TSC's vision is to be the primary resource for the U.S. Government's domestic and international security by providing watchlisting, screening, and intelligence information sharing through customer service and focused mission support.

Education

Education may not be substituted for Specialized Experience at GS 12 or higher.

Specialized Experience (SE) :

GS- 13 : Applicant must possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level. SE is defined as follows :

  • Conducting comprehensive management and / or program studies to develop logical, clear and well-documented recommendations and conclusions.
  • Identifying the impact and effect of study findings and recommendations, based on a broad knowledge of the organization's overall structure, missions, functions, policies, and programs.

Desired Skills

Desired skills are NOT mandatory and will NOT be utilized to minimally qualify applicants.

Desired Skills are : : Experience with watchlisting systems, policies and directives (i.e., experience with TIDE, the Terrorist Screening Dataset, HSPD-6, etc.) is strongly preferred.
