Since its founding in 1985, Queen of Peace Center (QOPC) has been providing family-centered behavioral healthcare for women, children, and families.
As a member of the Federation of Catholic Charities, we serve the metropolitan and surrounding St. Louis area through four core programs : prevention, education, treatment, and housing.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for all transportation activities that take place through Queen of Peace Center.
Job Summary
Transport clients of agency in insured agency vehicle to / from facility for treatment as well as off campus activities i.
e. school, authorized outings, or medical treatment, during treatment hours.
- Monitor recreational activities away from the facility.
- Maintain effective communication with the agency staff to coordinate a consistent environment for the clients.
- Responsible for daily maintenance of fleet including cleaning and completion of maintenance checklist.
- Participate in staff in-service training program, including safety and driving training.
- Follow all safety regulations regarding safety belts, speed limits and all traffic rules of the road.
- Pick up program supplies and donation as scheduled and requested.
- Work closely with Transportation Team to ensure all tickets, registrations are paid and up to date
- Participate in staff meetings when requested.
- Complete and maintain transportation log sheet.
- Assist with answering phones, e-mails and taking messages.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
- Working knowledge of city and county requirements
- Satisfactory driving record
- Experience with chemical dependency preferred
- Commercial driver’s license or Class E driver’s license (MO residents)
- CPR certified

Pre-Employment Screening
