Digital Print Production Assistant - 2nd Shift (2 : 30pm-11 : 00pm). We are located in the Dedham / Needham / West Roxbury area!
Summary
This is a fantastic development opportunity within our digital print operations team. You’ll be working hand-in-hand with an expert operator to learn the process of producing high-quality secure card products that meet the specifications of our customers’ requirements.
- Review customer orders and instructions to prepare job for printing
- Create proofs and design layouts of card product
- Maintain daily print job production logs and data collection
- Setup, program, and release jobs from print queue
- Adjust image position, color calibration, monitor quality of job output for correctness and image quality
- Double check the copy for accuracy of graphics, quantity, material, and color.
- Operate digital printing equipment (HP12K / HP 30K)
- Skills and Requirements
- High attention to detail for quality control purposes
- Analytical approach to problem solving
- Ability to conduct tests and inspections to evaluate quality and performance
- Excellent visual discrimination and grasp of color theory
- Able to follow instructions thoroughly
- Good understanding of basic arithmetic principals
- Fluent in English
