This position coordinates and leads PQI efforts and activities across all CDYS programs in order to strengthen and enhance outcomes for individuals and families served as well as increase resources and development opportunities for staff
Position Summary : This position coordinates and leads performance and quality improvement (PQI) activities across all CDYS programs in order to strengthen and enhance outcomes for individuals and families served as well as increase resources and development opportunities for staff.
The Director has primary responsibility, under the direction of the Sr. Vice President of CDYS and in collaboration with CDYS leadership, for activities related to the effective and efficient functioning of CDYS programming.
This includes program evaluation, data collection, outcome measurement and compliance monitoring.

Primary Duties / Responsibilities :
Operations :
- Oversees the development and implementation of specific policies, procedures, and systems related to PQI efforts.
- Works with CDYS leadership and staff in ensuring program and service delivery compliance.
- Assists programs in the remediation of any known non-compliance matters and assists in the development of strategies aimed at program and service delivery improvement.
- Has primary responsibility in coordinating record / file review efforts in order to assure effective utilization of services and compliance with documentation standards.
- Prepares or assists in the preparation of any and all reports as required by funding, monitoring or accrediting agencies or as requested by Ada S.
McKinley senior leadership.
Quality Improvement :
- Has primary responsibility and works in collaboration with CDYS leadership and other staff regarding the development of program goals, tracking of outputs and outcomes, and implements strategies aimed at creating a culture of learning and improvement.
- Develops and implements systems of data collection and review as well as program monitoring.
- Assists in establishing criteria for program evaluation and the development of monitoring reports related to key performance indicators.
The purpose will be to ensure services will be of maximum quality and will meet the standards prescribed by funding, licensing and accrediting entities.
- Is responsible for leading the development and implementation of an annual CDYS PQI plan.
- Has primary responsibility in coordinating needs assessments and satisfaction surveys to obtain input for improving services and making appropriate recommendations.
- Partners with CDYS Vice Presidents and program staff in strategic planning as well as the development and implementation of operating methods and procedures designed to enhance operations, and improve service quality, outcomes and impact.
- Prepares PQI and other status reports on PQI activities as required.

- Fosters positive working relationships with our community, partners, funding sources and regulatory bodies.
- Represents Ada S. McKinley on CDYS related committees, workgroups and / or meetings as required or as schedule permits
Specifications :
- The position requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- At least five years of management experience in human services industry preferred.
- Experience with organizational PQI efforts preferred.
- This position requires a valid driver’s license and own vehicle to travel.
Mental / Physical Demands : Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands, and to talk or hear.
The employee frequently is required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Environmental Conditions : The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Duties are performed in a typical office environment.
