Warehouse Forklift Associate
Well-established ventilation manufacturer in Rancho Santa Margarita is seeking a Warehouse Associate with Forklift experience .
This associate will perform various duties, including but not limited to light industrial assembly, material handling, testing, quality control and packaging.
The Warehouse Associate will utilize several pieces of industrial machinery including hand tools, powered tools, and material handling equipment.
This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position.
Hours : Monday-Friday 8 : 30AM to 5PM (with some flexibility)
Compensation : $22 to 24 / hour
Responsibilities :
- Ability to safely operate various machines, including powered tools
- Assembling, testing and quality control
- Ensure quality standards are achieved by thoroughly reading and executing work instructions to include correct product, size, quantity etc.
- Identify and communicate delays or problems that might keep a specific job from being completed on time
- Operate a forklift, dolly and pallet jack for multiple purposes in the warehouse
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Forklift experience
- Good verbal and written communication
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and perform quality work independently
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to sit or stand for the full shift as role dictates, and be able to execute frequent bending, twisting, reaching, lifting, carrying and squatting when completing production processes or moving product(s)
- Must be dependable, punctual, reliable and responsible
- Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $22.00 - $24.00
