About The Position
Job Title : Cath Lab Technician Job Specialty : Electrophysiology Lab Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 4x10-Hour (07 : 00 - 17 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : EP Lab experience required License : ARRT plus VA license required (facility accepts a 90-day temporary license authorization pending the traveler has a state license from another state) Certifications : RCIS or RCES, BLS and ACLS required Must-Have : - EP Lab experience- EP Mapping experience- Familiarity and experience with : CARTO, ENSITE, CARDIOLAB- Interventional Radiology or critical care experience preferred Job Description : - Serve as a Cath Lab Technician specializing in Electrophysiology- Work in a dedicated EP Lab setting- Complete 4x10-hour shifts with rotating late shifts;
no weekends or on-call requirements- All staff sign up for late shifts in case procedures extend into the evening- The EP Lab does not operate on holidays- Complete all compliance training as required within specified deadlines- Required to work at least one holiday per season (two winter holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s)- Participate in a 24-hour orientation session, inclusive of 5.
5 hours for orientation modules and 2 hours specific to Epic for inpatient RNs.
