Summary :
We are looking for a Field Service Power Automation Engineer with expertise in power system automation and integration. This role involves supporting the field service team, troubleshooting, and optimizing power control systems.
You will lead system integration, provide technical support, and manage automation projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate has strong project management skills, a solid technical background in automation and power systems, and a passion for innovation.
This is a hands-on position with a focus on ensuring reliable system performance and seamless operations across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities :
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for power automation systems, including Low and Medium Voltage Switchgear.
- Support the field service team with technical troubleshooting, commissioning, and maintenance of power systems.
- Lead the integration of new automation technologies into existing power system infrastructures.
- Provide software and hardware support to enhance field service operations.
- Manage and assist in automation projects from concept to completion, ensuring successful execution.
- Collaborate with engineering, IT, and production teams to align automation strategies with business goals.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
What We’re Looking For :
- BSEE or MSEE degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, focusing on power control systems.
- Experience working with PLC programming, protective relays, and HMI systems .
- Proficiency in automation programming languages (IEC, Python, Java, SQL, etc.) and communication protocols (Modbus, OPC, DNP3, etc.).
- Excellent project management, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- A strong desire for growth and a passion for solving complex technical challenges.
