About the Role

We are seeking a Finance Analyst to join our team in Fremont, CA. This hybrid role offers an opportunity to partner with the Finance Manager and Financial Analysts to support operational, reporting, and reconciliation tasks that drive accuracy and efficiency across the business.

This is a temporary assignment with the potential for extension or conversion to a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities

Purchase Order & Invoice Coordination :

  • Manage PO approvals in collaboration with the Finance Manager.
  • Track POs and invoices for accuracy and timely processing.

Excel-Based Reporting :

  • Maintain financial trackers and Smartsheets.
  • Compile savings reports and create pivoted financial data views for stakeholders.
  • Financial Reconciliation :

  • Perform reconciliations across accounts and cost centers.
  • Validate and clean up invoice data (non-stock related).
  • Expense Management :

  • Act as first-line approver for expense reports.
  • Ensure accurate coding and billing allocation of expenses.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis & Projects :

  • Support analysts with custom reporting, special projects, and multi-tasking requests.
  • Contribute to data analysis that informs business decisions.
  • Process Knowledge & Collaboration :

  • Apply a broad understanding of financial principles and workflows.
  • Partner across finance, operations, and procurement to improve processes.
  • Qualifications

    Experience :  Minimum 3 years in finance, accounting, or a related field.

    Education :  Bachelor’s degree required.

    Skills :

  • Strong financial acumen in analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency (formulas, pivot tables, report building).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate across functions and present financial findings confidently.
