Role Summary

Blain's Farm & Fleet is seeking a Senior CI / CD DevOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our automation pipelines and infrastructure provisioning. This role will support our hybrid infrastructure (Azure, AVS, on-prem), drive GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps integration, and contribute to our disaster recovery and environment management strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain CI / CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and integrate with deployment workflows
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to support environment build-outs for R1b and R2 initiatives
  • Implement version control, artifact management, and rollback strategies
  • Integrate DR automation into CI / CD pipelines and support environment recovery workflows
  • Ensure pipeline security, RBAC enforcement, and compliance with internal policies
  • Monitor pipeline performance and optimize for speed, reliability, and cost-efficiency
  • Document CI / CD processes and contribute to the DevOps playbook

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps or CI / CD engineering roles
  • Expertise in GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and pipeline-as-code practices
  • Strong knowledge of Terraform and infrastructure-as-code principles
  • Experience with hybrid cloud environments including Azure and AVS
  • Familiarity with Rubrik, Azure Blob Storage, and backup / restore automation
  • Understanding of RBAC, Azure Policy, and secure DevOps practices
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
  • Excellent collaboration and documentation skills

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or GitHub Advanced Security certification
  • Experience with disaster recovery automation and environment rollback
  • Knowledge of cost optimization strategies in CI / CD workflows
