Description
The Invasive Radiology nurse provides care to all age groups referred with various systems abnormalities. S / he is expected to practice collaboratively with physicians, nurses and other disciplines.
- Under the general supervision of the Radiology nurse supervisor, this person will be responsible for the following : identifying, facilitating and evaluating outcomes of nursing care for an individual patient or group of patients, utilizing nursing process;
- coordinating all aspects and providing technical / medical expertise to medical staff for all adult and pediatric diagnostic interventional Radiology procedures performed within their section;
documenting relevant patient information in writing on all patients undergoing Radiology procedures.
Qualifications :
- Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing school
- Current NH RN license
- 2-4 years of nursing experience, preferably in critical care;
- ACLS required.
