Raytheon is hiring a Senior Software Engineer - Scrum Master to support our world-class engineering team in Richardson, Texas.

In this role, you will work with a distributed team and facilitate scrum events including sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review and sprint retrospective, and work to remove obstacles that may impede the team's progress.

What You Will Do

• Act as Scrum Master and senior developer for the team.
• Have a direct impact on critical operational capability.
• Opportunity to use your understanding of software principles, theories, and concepts related to software engineering (including software development lifecycle and software development process), design patterns, and Object Oriented architecture.
• Demonstrate your critical thinking skills with the ability to communicate concepts and ideas well.
• Limited travel will be required to support Program Increment Planning Events (PIPEs) with the customer.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS / SCI Security Clearance and pass polygraph.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of experience.
• Experience in Java.
• Experience using Python.
• Experience with Agile and / or DevSecOps toolsets (e.g. Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, Jenkins, Cucumber, etc.)
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.

S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• CSM certification.
• Experience with container orchestration products such as Kubernetes or Apache OpenShift.
• Experience with OpenShift and Helm.
• Experience with Golang.
• Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI / CD).

North Texas :

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
