A law firm in Maple Grove, Minnesota, specializing in family law is seeking a self-motivated Associate Attorney to join their team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of family court procedures and laws and will be responsible for direct case management with occasional project-based tasks.

Duties :
- Manage family law cases from inception to resolution, including divorce, custody, support, and adoption matters.
- Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in family law matters.
- Draft and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and agreements.
- Attend court hearings, mediations, and other legal proceedings.
- Conduct legal research and apply knowledge of family law to develop case strategies.
- Maintain consistent communication with clients, keeping them informed on case progress and legal options.
- Collaborate with the legal team on complex family law matters and special projects as needed.
Requirements :
- Demonstrable knowledge of family court procedures and family law statutes.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Experience in family law or direct client contact is preferred but not required.
Education :
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications :
Active Bar membership in the State of Minnesota (required).
