Job Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and driven Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in network engineering with significant expertise in Linux environments, including kernel development.

This role involves contributing to system architecture and ensuring the delivery of robust network solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Network Security : Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.

Network Monitoring and Optimization : Utilize network monitoring tools to analyze performance data, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network performance.

Collaboration : Collaborate closely with teams across product management, quality assurance (QA), and operations to deliver reliable network solutions.

Troubleshooting and Resolution : Identify, analyze, and resolve complex network issues promptly to ensure minimal downtime and optimal network performance.

Here is what you need :

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in network engineering and system administration.
  • Expertise in Linux operating systems, with proficiency in kernel development and customization.
  • Experience with Linux based systems (Red Hat Linux preferred).
  • Experience with network security practices and tools, including firewalls, VPNs, and IDS / IPS systems.
  • Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SNMP, Wireshark).
  • Solid understanding of network design principles, including scalability, performance optimization, and redundancy.
  • Must be able to meet onsite requirements in San Diego.
  • Bachelor's degree requirement.

Bonus points if you have :

  • Military experience preferred
  • CCNA Certification
  • SECURITY+ Certification

Eligibility Requirements :

Must be able a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia .

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.

The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia is :
