Job Details for Payroll Specialist :

• Schedule : Monday- Friday, 8AM-5PM
• Pay Rate : $20-25 / hr Paid Weekly!
• Temp position with Health Benefits & Wellness Program

Job Responsibilities & Description for Payroll Specialist :

• Process variety of electronic transactions through MUNIS related to all hired, terminated, and current active employees to ensure accurate payroll and compensation.
• Process manual checks.
• Receive and enter requests from departments into payroll system.
• Calculate payments and verify against personnel actions.
• Enter retroactive amounts and other money amounts into payroll system.
• Post and maintain tax liens, garnishments, and child support payments.
• Assist with other payroll tasks as needed.

Job Requirements for Payroll Specialist :

• Thorough knowledge of payroll processes including compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Experience with ERP systems required.
• Proficient Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
• Have a strong attention to detail while working in hit specific deadlines.
• A demonstrated ability to multitask and work independently.
• CPP certification desired but not required.
