Foundation and Special Programs Managerfor the ACP Education Foundation

As our Foundation and Special Programs Manager you will plan, coordinate, communicate, and document all aspects of foundation projects helping further the mission of the ACP Education Foundation (ACPEF).

You would be an integral part of the team in helping support the Foundation continue to secure and steward funding resources from donors into the areas of research and education in preparing prosthodontic leaders of the future to address the issues of oral health head-on.

In this highly visible role, you will be working with the Senior Manager of Education and Meetings, our Development Consultant, ACPEF Board members and various committees / volunteers coordinating all aspects of Foundation related projects.

More specifically, you will serve as the ACPEF staff liaison, communicate with and coordinate volunteers regarding any meetings and agendas.

You will assist with budget development, conference coordination, manage our yearly research competition and provide support to our dental school educators for the Foundation.

In support of ACPEF, you would need to be comfortable with performing day to day general tasks that include administration, communication and other project management components.

It will be important that you have strong organizational skills to manage project coordination, budgets, timelines, deadlines as well as for donation processing, A / R duties, database management and report preparation.

Who is ACP / ACPEF?

Located in Rosemont IL (close to public transportation), the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP) , founded in 1970, is a not-for-profit association created to represent the needs and interests of prosthodontists within organized dentistry, and to the public, by providing opportunities for dialogue, education, advancement, and improvement through meetings, continuing education, communications, publications, and other programs and activities.

As a catalytic agent for prosthodontics, the ACPEF provides funding to support education, research, and other opportunities for growth.

What are we looking for?

You have previous experience managing projects, databases, proven superior organizational / administrative skills, are a proactive, self-starter, detail / deadline orientated, enjoy working and communicating with a variety of people with poise and tact.

You are proficient in Microsoft 365, have managed files within a cloud-based application like SharePoint or Drop Box. A plus would be working with databases (association based iMIS or other databases), Survey Monkey, Constant Contact and basic website application and in an association or non-for-profit organization!

I nterviews : Will be held on a virtual basis. Final interview will be held in person for final candidates.

Job Location : ACP has a hybrid work environment. During the (90) days of your onboarding, new hires are required to come into the office at least two times per week and afterward, come into the office once a week.

The office is located 6400 Shafer Ct, Rosemont, IL 60018 and shuttle service is available from the Blue-Line Rosemont El station.

Also, you must be able to attend our annual conference and be available to work some evening and weekends as needed. Relocation assistance for out of state candidates will not be provided.

The candidate must reside within the Chicagoland area due to the need to come into the office.
