Principal, Spend Managment Solution Architect (healthcare consultative solutions - non IT)

Summary :

In the role, you will design cost performance improvement solutions to align customer priorities to Vizient's spend management strategies.

Responsibilities :

Partner with Vizient Spend Management BU Leadership and the sales & delivery teams to uncover hospital and healthcare system customer needs, align Vizient solutions, and design comprehensive engagements that leverage Vizient's spend management solutions.

Serve as the Spend Management subject matter expert to the Enterprise in the solution and design of spend management partnerships for existing members and new member recruitment.

Cultivate meaningful relationships with member organizations.

Perform achievement of goals through supporting renewal and new business development opportunities, managing profitability and margin in assigned activities.

Advance the commercialization of each category strategy; measurable, meaningful pipeline opportunities in each category.

Create and deliver high-quality, strategy-aligned presentations and proposals to C-level and other executives.

Qualifications :

Relevant degree preferred. Advanced degree preferred.

10 or more years experience in category expertise / spend management or customer solutions experience required.

Services or consulting sales experience required.

General management, leadership, and people management experience required.

Experience working with health system C-Suite providers is required.

Category subject matter expertise preferred in areas of healthcare non-labor expense management, supply chain, pharmacy, medical device, purchased services / indirect spend, or capital equipment.

Experience working with clinical departments that interact with supply chain preferred.

A high degree of client interaction, and commercially oriented experience are needed.

Demonstrate a strategic and solution design mindset.

Experience working both independently and as part of a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

Possess excellent communication skills.

Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients' needs and timetables.

Estimated Hiring Range :

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range.

Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $187,800.00 to $328,600.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
