Job Description

HII Mission Technologies Division is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Specialist in support of a large Operations and Maintenance Contract within Mission Technologies.

Position(s) will be based at global Army training site in Ft Carson, CO. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Oversees the housekeeping, custodial services, rodent control, and grounds maintenance for all program-occupied facilities located on USG installations required for TADSS and range maintenance.
  • Monitors and controls the maintenance of the on base facilities across the program.
  • Advises the Facilities Manager of the on base facilities maintenance status across the program, any potential issues, and possible solutions.
  • Advises the Facilities Manager on matters related to access and / or keys required for on base facilities.
  • Advises the Facilities Manager regarding the implementation of any required vendor agreements with outside agencies employed to provide facilities maintenance services.
  • Coordinates with Site Leads and the program IT team to ensure adequate telecommunications services are available through the installation DOIM or commercial sources.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a NACI clearance.

Preferred Requirements

  • Expert knowledge of data communications protocols and technologies (Ethernet, TCP / IP, routing / switching, etc.), Strong RF communications skills (radio communications, microwave systems, antennas, etc.),
  • Ability to design and implement cyber-secure network architectures,
  • Experience with military communications systems and standards, combat net radios, tactical data links, telemetry systems,
  • Knowledge of Army training range operations and requirements,
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication abilities,
  • Ability to lead project teams and mentor junior engineers
