Who You Are
Subcontract Management, Senior Staff
What You Will Be Doing
You'll lead multifunctional subcontract management teams and be responsible for the management of supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk, modified Commercial Off The Shelf, performance specification and complex build-to-print subcontracts for commercial, DOD and international programs.
You'll hold procurement delegation, sign supplier agreements and purchase orders, within established authority.
You'll lead in the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms & conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services, for subcontract systems;
in support of development, production and global sustainment primes with multiple contract types.
You'll prepare bid packages, conduct bidders' conferences, develop evaluation criteria, analyze and evaluate proposals, negotiate subcontract provisions including price;
select or recommend subcontractors, write subcontract packages, prepare awards and administer resulting subcontracts and required change activity.

Desired skills
Bachelors degree from an accredited college, in a related in a related discipline, or equivalent experience / combined education, with 15 years or more of professional experience;
or 13 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree
Subcontract Management experience in Defense Industry
Formal team lead or leadership experience
Experience training procurement professionals to include : coaching, and mentoring new and emerging talent
Program Management Experience
Experience operating autonomously, driving actions and results, both internally and externally
Experience collaborating and communicating cross-functionally, building consensus and shaping / influencing opinion
Experience effectively communicating with senior leaders to include program, company, subcontractors, and customers
Adherence to policies & procedures under the guidance of the Federal Acquisition Regulations and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARs) to include familiarity with Government Procurement processes and regulations
