Medical Billing Specialist

Vaco has partnered with a Home Health Care company to fill a Medical Billing Specialist apportunity. The Medical Billing Specialist is responsible for following up on denied insurance claims, resubmitting insurance claims for approval, managing unbilled visits, assisting with additional accounting, and billing duties.

Requirements

• 2+ years of revenue cycle billing is required
• Experience with Home Health billing is required
• Experience with Medicaid billing is required
• Effective communication skills, attention to details, and effective problem-solving skills
• High school diploma or GED required but associate or bachelor's degree preferred

• the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
• licensure and certification requirements;
• office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure.

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
