We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team for the upcoming 2024 / 2025 school year.
Location : Siloam Springs, AR
Salary Range : Competitive Pay, Commensurate with experience

- 25 Students, 3
grade, Inclusion, Push in and Pull out
25 Students, 5
grade, Intermediate School, Push in and Pull out
High School, 9
grade, Self-contained, Mild to Moderate
Onsite Only
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide an optimum learning environment for all students
- Participate in, contribute to, and be supportive of group decisions and efforts
- Follow District and State guidelines for essential learning and instructional strategies
- Work cooperatively with administration and staff in problem solving and group process activities
- Model lifelong learning, positive self-esteem, and respect for others
- Set and maintain high personal, professional, and instructional standards for self and students
- Perform other related duties as required or requested
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must Have : Active Arizona Special Education Teaching certification.
- Sensitive to and skilled in working with a diverse population
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Skilled in relating well to students, parents, staff, and community
- Genuine desire to work with all students
