As a Systems Administrator with a focus on AWS, you'll be at the heart of our cloud initiatives, designing, deploying, and assisting with managing our AWS-based infrastructure.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES : As our Systems Administrator, you will :

• Windows server administration and PowerShell
• Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution : Investigate and resolve technical issues, collaborating with support teams to minimize downtime and maintain optimal system performance.
• High Availability and Disaster Recovery : Design and implement solutions for high availability and disaster recovery, leveraging AWS services like Auto Scaling and backup solutions.
• AWS Infrastructure Design : Design and implement AWS solutions that align with our business and technical requirements, ensuring security, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Deployment and Configuration : Deploy and configure AWS services using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform, ensuring seamless integration and automation.
• Security and Compliance : Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards, safeguarding our cloud environment against potential threats.
• Monitoring and Optimization : Set up monitoring and alerting using AWS CloudWatch, proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, and optimize resource utilization for maximum efficiency.
• Documentation : Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of AWS architecture, configurations, and procedures, ensuring knowledge sharing and continuity.

QUALIFICATIONS : To excel in this role, you'll need :

• Education and Certification : Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred), along with AWS Certified Solutions Architect (preferred), AWS Certified DevOps Engineer (preferred), or equivalent certifications.
• Experience : Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing AWS infrastructure, coupled with proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, CLI, VPC, Lambda, ASG and IAM.
• Technical Skills : Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, PowerShell, Windows Server administrations, security best practices, and compliance requirements, with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Communication and Collaboration : Effective communication and collaboration skills are essential, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Familiarity with programming languages and scripting

• Must be able to prioritized, schedule and complete testing required for multiple applications with overlapping schedules.
• A certain degree of creativity and flexibility is required.
• Hours may exceed 40 hours per week.
• Occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required.
