Software Engineer III, Infrastructure, Google Cloud Platforms

Google is seeking software engineers to develop next-generation technologies that impact billions of users. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location; final compensation depends on work location and other factors. Recruiters can share location-specific details during the hiring process. Compensation details listed reflect base salary only, excluding bonus, equity, or benefits.

Responsibilities

• Write product or system development code.
• Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
• Review code written by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, testing, efficiency).
• Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product updates and user feedback.
• Triage product or system issues and debug / resolve by analyzing sources and assessing impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
