About The Position
Job Title : Respiratory Therapist Job Specialty : Respiratory Therapy Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 6 : 00 PM - 6 : 30 AM Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum of 1 year License : Texas Medical Board License Certifications : BLS, NRP, STABLE, PALS Must-Have : - BLS, ACLS- NICU BLS, NRP / PICU- BLS, PALS Job Description : - Provide respiratory care treatments and perform ventilator management.
- Conduct trauma care, including tracheostomy care and suctioning.- Work with equipment such as Servo U, Respironics V-60s, and Hamilton C1 / MR1.
- Must be adaptable to a fast-paced environment.- Follow dress code guidelines, wearing navy blue scrubs daily with the option to wear black or grey scrubs on Fridays.
Unit Information : - Facility has 327 beds.- Work alongside a team of 5 respiratory therapists, including 1 RT Supervisor.
EMR system used : Meditech- Every other weekend work required. Preferred Expertise : - Candidates with NRP, STABLE, PALS, or ACLS certifications will be prioritized.
