Job Title : Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Location : Spanaway, WA

Compensation : $25-$36 / hour DOE

Schedule : M-F, 7am-5pm

Position Overview :

As an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of various production equipment and special-purpose machinery.

You’ll use your expertise to diagnose issues, perform necessary repairs, and ensure that all machinery operates efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities :

• Equipment Maintenance : Install, adjust, and repair production equipment and specialized machinery as directed.
• Tool Operation : Utilize a range of hand and power tools to perform repairs, lubrication, welding (preferred but not required), cutting, and part replacements.
• Troubleshooting : Test malfunctioning machinery, troubleshoot issues, and determine the necessary repairs. Coordinate with the plant supervisor for repair approvals.
• Parts Replacement : Replace faulty components such as electrical wires, motors, controls, and circuit boards.
• Observation : Monitor and listen to mechanical devices and equipment to assess proper functioning or identify trouble areas.
• Additional Duties : Perform other job-related tasks as needed, on a temporary or permanent basis.

Hard Skills :

• Hydraulics : Proficiency in hydraulic systems and maintenance.
• Pneumatics : Knowledge of pneumatic systems and repairs.
• Industrial Maintenance : Experience in maintaining and repairing industrial equipment.
• Welding : Welding skills are a plus but not mandatory.
• PLC : Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
