This Medical Assistant is full time, days, working at one of our Primary Care Clinics at 7890 N Cortaro Rd
supporting Northwest Medical Center!
Summary :
Performs patient care activities under the supervision of a provider. Assists providers with medical procedures and office administrative processes as required.
Position Qualifications / Minimum Requirements
Education :
Required : High School diploma / GED, and graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Program
Note : If hired prior to 4 / 1 / 2021, equivalent experience is allowed in lieu of HS diploma / GED)
OR Current Certified Medical Assistant as noted in License / Certification section of these Position Requirements.
Licenses / Certifications :
Required : American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) BLS certification.
Within 90 days of hire date, must have one of these certifications : Current CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) issued by AAMA, CCMA (Certified Clinical Medical Assistant) issued by NHA, NCMA (National Certified Medical Assistant) issued by NCCT or, the RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) issued by AMT.
