InnoTECH Staffing is looking to hire a Senior Engineer with electronics experience for an exciting and growing materials tech start-up company in the Boston, MA area.
This requires being onsite 5 days a week. !!There is no relocation or sponsorship at this time!!
About the Role :
We are looking for a Senior Engineer with some electronics experience to join our client’s talented and diverse technical team.
A Test Engineer or Reliability Engineer or people who have worked with materials in relation to electronics industry (adhesive, coatings, TIM, etc.
The team already has strong materials background so they still need to fill some of the electronics gap.
As a Senior Engineer, you will :
- Lead technical support for our customers by working closely with our global sales and field-deployed global technical service teams.
- Be a trusted technical expert to our customers and establish and maintain positive relationships with key technical contacts and decision makers at our customers
- Ensure the on-time completion of customer activities, including leading technical calls with customers, managing customer samples, and experimental support for the customer opportunities they own
- Understand and implement coating application approaches on a variety of customer samples in customers’ production lines with our field-deployed technical team
- Lead development of novel application techniques and new test methodologies to address market and customer requirements
- Communicate technical advances internally with other members of the company and be able to engage customers on the details of our products
- Establish relationships with vendors to expand Company capabilities and address customer needs
- Participate in occasional international and domestic business travel (15-20%)
Who We Need :
The ideal Senior Engineer will possess the following experience and skills :
- BS or BS / MS degree in Chemical, Materials, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with min 4-5 years of industry engineering experience
- Background or experience in the following areas : PCB components and failure modes, layout considerations, PCBA manufacturing signal integrity for high frequency applications
- Experience with the application of coatings and manufacturing processes is preferred
- Experience with Technical Project Management is a plus
The position is accessible via the Orange Line.

Salary for this role depending on experience is $115K to $125K plus generous benefits, 401k, bonus etc.
