Overview :
Assists in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of the operations and patient care of designated areas.
Serves as clinical resource for staff and patients in the department. Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed.
Assumes managerial duties as delegated by manager. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications :
- Required Education : Nursing Degree from an accredited school. BSN Preferred
- License : current RN license in our state or can be obtained within 90 days
- Experience : Two years direct patient care experience as a registered nurse. One year experience as department charge nurse.
- Certifications :
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or can be obtained within 90 days
