Position : Selection
Selection associates are responsible for pulling merchandise for orders for customers as well as product being replenished to our store locations.
Selectors are responsible for filling all types of orders; catalog, wholesale and retail. This role is critical to providing our customers with the product they expect when they need it most to enjoy their time on the water.
You can expect the work to be physically demanding with an extremely high focus on your safety and the safety of others.
The work flow is very fast-paced, and productivity expectations are high.
Responsibilities :
- Use Voxware voice unit device to locate and select product.
- Picks up pick tickets, checks for special handling orders.
- Selects product for order through batch picking or zone picking.
- Packages catalog and wholesale orders for shipping.
- Practices good housekeeping and follows established safety procedures.
- Maintains a clean work environment to ensure safety and compliance.
Qualifications :
- High School or equivalent.
- Understanding of RF Scanners and Voice to Pick concepts
- Able to bend, lift, twist and climb
- Able to understand and communicate both written and verbal instruction
- Able to stand and walk 8 hours a day
- Able to lift up to 45 pounds occasionally
- Measure, weigh and count products and materials
