Adelphi is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide medical services at schools in New Haven County, Connecticut.

Requirements :

• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Connecticut license

Responsibilities :

• Provide nursing services to students based on individual health care plans
• Participate in planning and placement team meetings, write goals and objectives for students' IEPs, and communicate with health providers.
• Occasionally ride the bus with assigned students.
• Maintain nursing notes and records.
• Provide timely reports as requested, submit Medicaid documentation, and comply with State Department of Social Services regulations and other relevant laws.
• Provide in-service professional development and relevant nursing materials to the school staff and parents when requested.
• Any other duties as assigned.
