Job Description

As a Security Officer - Access Control CRE in San Juan Capistrano, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout a commercial real estate location. Your presence will promote a secure environment while you engage with visitors and occupants, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Control access to the property by verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the location.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and / or suspicious activity.
  • Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and guiding visitors or tenants as needed in a professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe and report any unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
  • Document security-related activities, incidents, and observations in detailed reports as required by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Follow site-specific policies and procedures, adapting to the unique needs of the commercial real estate environment.
  • Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, working with on-site personnel and / or public agencies as needed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
