Location

This is a full-time position and will be in one of our learning centers in the San Gabriel Valley.

Compensation & Benefits ($52,000 - $62,400 / year)

Compensation consists of :

• An hourly rate of $25 - $30 / hour based upon experience (full-time : $52,000 - $62,400 / annually) ($25 / hour if less than 3 years of sales experience)

Schedule

• Learning Centers are open Monday - Saturday
• Center Directors may choose to work an alternating schedule of Monday through Thursday, with alternating Fridays and Saturdays, or a five-day schedule of Tuesday through Saturday.
• Typical hours are 9 : 30 AM to 6 : 30 PM weekdays and 8 : 30 AM to 4 : 30 PM Saturdays

Responsibilities

• Maximize student enrollments
• Deliver parent conferences, tours, welcome conferences, and enrollment conferences
• Execute best marketing practices to increase buzz and awareness of Sylvan Learning in your community
• Deliver outstanding customer service to ensure parents and kids come back
• Manage your Center's performance, including revenue, expenses, and collections
• Oversee your center staff along with your Director of Education
• Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with teachers, educational specialists and other school administrators and parent / teacher organizations with the help of your educational director
• Recruit, train, and manage your Center team.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree
• Two years of sales, marketing, and management experience with a strong focus on customer service (retail and hospitality experience is a plus).

The ideal candidate will be able to show how they achieved results in their prior positions.

• Prior paid or volunteer experience working with children
• Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships
• Drive, ambition, and a strong work-ethic
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Ability to work within a team and lead others through the power of example, kindness, and humility
• Complete comfort and fluency working with computers and technology (Microsoft Office experience preferred)
• Tuberculosis clearance and DOJ Livescan background check
