Solo Reefer Class A Truck Driver

KeyResponsibilities :

• Safe and EfficientTransport : Operate assigned Peterbilt 579 Ultraloftsto transport reefer freight (primarily pork) with utmost careensuring compliance with all safety regulations and companypolicies.
• EquipmentOperation : Manage and maintain your assigned truckwhich includes automatic transmission APUs refrigerators and powerinverters.

Ensure the vehicle is in excellent working condition andreport any issuespromptly.

• CustomerService : Provide exceptional service by ensuringtimely and accurate delivery of freight. Address any issues ordelays proactively and communicate effectively with dispatch andcustomers.
• Compliance : Adhere to all federal and state regulations regardingtransportation and reefer equipment. Maintain accurate logs andrecords asrequired.
• Professionalism : Represent the company with professionalism and integrity while onthe road. Foster positive relationships with customers dispatch andfellow drivers.

Requirements :

• Valid CDLALicense : Must hold a current and valid CDLA licensewith a clean drivingrecord.
• Experience : Proven experience handling reefer freight is preferred. Ability tooperate and manage reefer equipment and understand temperaturecontrol requirements.
• PhysicalFitness : Must be physically capable of performingthe duties of the position including long hours of driving andhandlingfreight.
• Flexibility : Willingness to be out on the road for up to 3 weeks at a time withthe flexibility to handle varying routes andschedules.
• SafetyConscious : A strong commitment to safety andcompliance with all transportation regulations and companypolicies.
• CustomerOriented : Excellent communication skills and a dedication to providinghighquality customer service.

Compensation &Benefits :

• Pay Rate : $0.62per mile (includes $0.10 per mile perdiem)
• Home Time : 2weeks out with one day home for every week out. Option to be out upto 3weeks.
• Vacation : 1week in the first year 2 weeks in the secondyear.
• Pet Policy : Dogs up to 60 lbs allowed; $75 a week up to$750.
• RiderPolicy : Must be at least 6 years old; $16 amonth.
