NOC Engineer I

A company is looking for a NOC Engineer I (REMOTE).

Key Responsibilities

Monitor network elements and systems to ensure proper functionality and early detection of issues

Identify and escalate network problems beyond basic troubleshooting capabilities

Provide technical support to customers and manage trouble tickets for efficient resolution

Required Qualifications

Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or 2 years of related experience

1-3 years of experience in a NOC, ISP, MSP, or Network Helpdesk environment

Certifications such as MTCNA, CCNA, or Network+ are a plus

Familiarity with Layer 2 network technologies and TCP / IP protocols

Knowledge of network vendor syntax (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Mikrotik) is beneficial
