Position title LGV / HGV Class 1 Refrigerated Aldi Chilled Delivery Drivers - Spalding based - Immediate Start Description We are currently looking to recruit HGV / LGV (C+E) Class 1 Drivers (2 or 3) on behalf of our client for immediate start for Refrigerated Aldi Chilled Distribution Delivery company based in Spalding for deliveries nationwide throughout the UK.
Guaranteed 48 hours a week (any 5 days from 7). These assignments are day runs and average approx 9-12 hrs shift duration, No Night Out, start times vary 09 : 00-12 : 00 hrs. PAYE ONLY.
You must have no more than 6 points (speeding only), No DD / DR / MS or CU convictions or Bans, hold a Digital Tachograph Card and DCPC qualifications, and have at least 6 months proven on the road experience within the past 12 months.

Knowledge Required : Understanding of Drivers Hours and Tachograph Regulations and Laws. Good geographical knowledge of the UK road network.
Good knowledge of secure loading practices. Fridge RDC deliveries experience preferred.
Responsible for delivering and collecting food products to ALDI Distribution Centres. Ensuring all work undertaken is done in line with current drivers hours, Tachograph and Working Time Directive legislation.
Refrigerated Chilled deliveries / reloads. Palletised work. No handball. Start times vary between from 09 : 00 and 12 : 00 hours daily.
