Position Overview : We are currently seeking a skilled CAD Draftsman to join our team and play a crucial role in the design and planning phase of our residential and commercial construction projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer-aided design and drafting, with a passion for turning concepts into detailed, precise plans.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to create detailed construction drawings and plans.
- Utilize AutoCAD and other relevant software to produce accurate and efficient drawings.
- Ensure that drawings comply with project specifications, building codes, and industry standards.
- Revise and update drawings as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work closely with the project team to address design issues and modifications.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a CAD Draftsman in the residential / commercial construction industry.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other CAD software.
- Strong understanding of construction principles, codes, and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in creating drawings.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills to convey design ideas and changes.
