About The Position
Job Title : Cath Lab Tech Job Specialty : Cardiac Cath Lab Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 10-Hour Days Guaranteed Hours : 40 Hours per Week Experience : Minimum 2 Years with Coronary, Structural Heart, Complex PCI, and Peripheral Experience License : RT or Equivalent, or RCIS Required Certifications : BLS, ACLS Must-Have : - Proficiency in Coronary and Structural Heart Procedures - Experience in Complex PCI and Peripheral Cases - Ability to Perform Table Movement (Panning) - Arrhythmia Recognition and Treatment Skills - Critical Patient Assessment Skills Job Description : Work in a facility with two Cath labs and two hybrid peripheral / OR rooms - Engage with patients suffering from coronary artery disease, STEMI, cardiogenic shock, among others - Conduct diagnostic cath procedures and support for conditions like valvular and renal disease - Operate and manage devices such as IABP, Impella, Rotoblator, and Penumbra - Collaborate with a team including charge nurse, adhering to shift timings of 0600-1630 from Monday to Friday - Utilize EPIC for charting, with EPIC Cupid preferred - Required to be on-call 1-2 days per week and one weekend every four weeks - Orientation provided over four days with 10-hour shifts - Expectation to participate in a possible holiday assignment Candidates should live a minimum of 100 miles away from the facility and permanent staff must wait a full year before returning as a traveler.
