Status : Part Time, Non-Exempt
Job Duties :
The successful candidate will work in individuals’ homes and be expected to :
- Provide assistance and training to individuals with disabilities in their homes and community.
- Follow a care plan for social activities.
- Provide support with activities such as : cooking, cleaning, shopping, money management, personal hygiene and social activities.
- Assist with physical transfer within the home or to vehicle.
Certification and Education :
- Valid Driver’s License and own transportation is required with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities.
- Be able to establish effective relationships and provide hands on care.
- Be flexible and have good interpersonal skills.
- Computer skills.
