A social services organization in Los Angeles is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work in their community clinic.
About the opportunity :
- Schedule : Monday to Friday
- Hours : Standard business with some flexibility needed
- Patient Population : Adults, pediatrics and geriatrics
- Setting : outpatient (role is 100% onsite)
Responsibilities :
The Registered Nurse (RN) will :
- Provide medical assessment, treatment services and education to patients of the clinic with an emphasis on disease prevention and chronic disease management for children, adults, and geriatric patients.
- Provide clinical triage, health screening and education support.
- Conduct health education workshops as needed,
- Initiate and complete documentation of clinical, case management and follow-up activities thoroughly and in a timely manner.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- CA state RN license
- 2 years of experience in a clinical setting
- Previous experience in community health or primary care
