• Worksunder the supervision of Doctors and Registered Nurses by providingbasic medical care to their patients. Participates in activitiesrelated to care planning and the development of patientgoals.
• Plansand manages patient care according to each patient sneeds.
• Interviewspatients and records their medical history and physicalcondition.
• Obtainspatient vital signs including pulse blood pressure temperature andrespiration.
• Evaluatethe patient s physical mental and emotional status and provideroutine care forpatients.
• Observespatients health and reports patients status to RegisteredNurses / Doctors
• Administersmedications (per facility policy) and provides wound care / dressingchanges and monitorscatheters.
• Alwaysmaintain patient confidentiality.
• Maintainsa safe and clean working environment by complying with proceduresrules andregulations.
• Initiatesemergency resuscitative measures according to adult resuscitationand advanced life supportprotocols.
• Providescare in a nonjudgmental nondiscriminatory manner that is sensitiveto the patient s and family s diversity preserving their autonomydignity andrights.
• Servesand protects the facility by adhering to professional standardspolicies and procedures; federal state and localrequirements.
• Knowledgeof various computersystems.
• Demonstrateproficiency in verbal and written communicationskills.
