Certification Details
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
- Complete Trauma Care After Resuscitation - TCAR within six months of hire
- National Institutes of Health (NIH) - NIH Stroke Scale must be completed within 6 months of hire
Job Details
- The Clinical Nurse performs a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration of specific patient conditions and treatments, and ability to work independently in completing assignments.
- Guidelines include physicians orders, standards of care, nursing policies and procedures manuals, hospital policies.
- Nursing duties include support to individuals of all ages and their families.
- The Registered Nurse performs a variety of responsible nursing care procedures on this 30 bed adult med / surg unit, requiring professional knowledge and consideration of specific patient conditions and treatments and ability to work independently in completing assignments.
- As a member of the health care team, serves as Clinical Nurse performing professional nursing duties for the care of inpatients.
Job Requirements
- Must have experience in MedSurg!
- Fingerprinting must be submitted and cleared prior to start!
- Nursing license from any state of the United States of America is acceptable.
- COVID 19 vaccination is MANDATORY and worker must be fully vaccinated 2 weeks prior to start date. Declination is considered for Medical reasons ONLY with appropriate documentation.
Schedule Information
Overtime after 40 hrs a week or 80 hrs a pay period or over the 7 shifts.
Unit Specific Information
- Services provided to the community include comprehensive inpatient / outpatient emergency services, dental and ophthalmology services, orthopedics, OB / GYN, oral surgery, eye surgery and urological procedures.
- The nursing staff includes registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, nursing assistants, community health nurses, nurse practitioners, nurse midwives, CRNA, and community health medics.

- ORIENTATION : Every two (2) weeks only.
- COVID EXEMPTIONS : We do not accept religious exemptions. If a candidate submits for a medical exemption, we will have to get approval from our medical review board to proceed with onboarding.
