Description
Summary : Medical Observation Unit (MOU) is a 60 bed medical surgical floor focused on the care of patients designated as observation status.
The goal of the unit being to address or make a determination within 24-48 hours for patients acute medical needs. From there, patients may be discharged for outpatient follow up or continue their care on an inpatient unit if warranted.
This position provides general nursing care to patients and families along the health illness continuum in diverse health care settings while collaborating with the health care team.
He / She is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
Minimum Qualifications :
BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart AssociationAmerican Heart AssociationAmerican Heart Association, RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of NursingOhio Board of NursingOhio Board of NursingState Driver's License.
