As a Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) Senior Manager, you will play a critical role in aligning sales, marketing, and operations functions to optimize overall business performance.

This position involves developing and executing comprehensive S&OP strategies, ensuring efficient communication and collaboration across departments, and driving continuous improvement in the S&OP process.

Key Responsibilities :

  • S&OP Strategy :
  • Develop and implement a robust Sales and Operations Planning strategy that aligns with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sales forecasts, production plans, and inventory management into a cohesive S&OP process.
  • Demand Planning :
  • Work closely with operation teams to gather and analyze demand forecasts.
  • Develop and maintain accurate demand plans to ensure optimal inventory levels and customer satisfaction.
  • Supply Planning :
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and supply chain teams to develop and maintain production plans that align with demand forecasts.
  • Ensure that adequate resources are allocated to meet production requirements.
  • Inventory Management :
  • Optimize inventory levels by balancing supply and demand factors.
  • Develop and implement inventory control measures to minimize excess stock and stockouts.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration :
  • Facilitate regular S&OP meetings to review and align on demand, supply, and financial plans.
  • Foster collaboration and communication between sales, marketing, production, and finance teams.
  • Performance Monitoring :
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the S&OP process.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics, making recommendations for process improvements.
  • Continuous Improvement :
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains within the S&OP cycle.
  • Implement best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Risk Management :
  • Identify and assess potential risks to the S&OP process, such as supply chain disruptions or changes in market demand.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
  • Proven experience in S&OP, demand planning, or related roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proficiency in S&OP software and tools.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles.

Job Information :

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $167900 - $316000 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
