Application Support Specialist (Citrix - Northeast)

This role involves designing, customizing, and supporting various software applications, requiring a high level of technical expertise, passion for staying updated with new technologies, and excellent interpersonal skills to deliver top-notch service to end users.

Specific Responsibilities :

• Assume primary technical ownership of software applications.
• Understand and implement layered infrastructure security concepts.
• Build and deploy Citrix VDI and XenApp disks.
• Perform Citrix XenApp administration tasks.
• Assist with administration of various software tools.
• Troubleshoot Citrix issues post-migration.
• Coordinate and document software upgrades.
• Manage server backups, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity efforts.
• Document application customizations for training purposes.
• Troubleshoot application errors and coordinate vendor support.
• Ensure the environment is updated, efficient, secure, and available.
• Prioritize, research, and resolve technical problems.

Qualifications :

• Proficiency in Citrix Studio, Citrix Director, MCS, PVS, App Layering, FAS, Cloud Connectors, FSLogix.
• Basic Project Management skills.
• Ability to install, maintain, and upgrade third-party software.
• Understanding of hardware requirements and technical documentation.
• Experience with Root-Cause Analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
• Previous experience in relevant roles preferred.
