ALUMINUM WELDER RACK FABRICATOR - 1ST SHIFT

JOB TITLE : Rack Fabricator

REPORTS TO : Rack Fabrication Team Leader

SHIFT DAYS / HOURS : 8 hr. shifts (Mon-Fri) 5 : 00 Am- 1 : 00 Pm) Must be willing and able to work Mandatory OT on off days as necessary.

STARTING PAY : $18.12 per hour.

What You Will Be Responsible For :

• Follow blueprints and technical drawings to produce high-quality welds
• Maintain productivity within assigned section(s) of rack building / repair
• Welding booths, drill press, sander, chop saw, rack repair station, vertical saw, and / or pin assembly station
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Assist other personnel and perform other duties as required per supervisor.
• Inform the Supervisor of any equipment problems or any other problems.
• Work in a safe manner always wearing all required Proper Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free workstation.
• Able to participate in a collaborative environment.
• Comply with safety policies and procedures.
• Accepts feedback from the Team Leader to ensure the bundles meet safety standards.
• Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

Work Environment / Physical Demands :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls;

reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.

• The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch. The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and always without air conditioning.

What You Will Need :

• HS Diploma / GED
• Must also pass a skills-based test.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work efficiently and effectively; self-motivated; self-starter.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Must be conscientious, diplomatic, and detail oriented.
• Must pass a company background check and drug screen.
