Our client is looking for an energetic, organized, and inspiring leader to join their premier preschool company in the Macon, Georgia area as a Regional Director of Operations overseeing up to six locations. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who has experience leading multi-site operations.
- This is a Direct Hire position with the business
- Monday - Friday; year-round employment
- The selected candidate will lead schools in the Macon, GA area, working onsite in the schools within the territory daily.
Compensation

Leadership & Management
Supervise and support the directors and staff of multiple preschool locations within the regionEnsure that each location meets and exceeds quality standards, including educational programs, staff qualifications, child safety, and overall environmentProvide ongoing mentorship, training, and support to preschool directors and teaching staff to ensure professional growth and alignment with organizational objectivesConduct regular visits to all preschool locations to monitor operations, evaluate staff performance, and assess the quality of the educational environmentFoster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture across all locations by promoting teamwork, professionalism, and a child-centered focusOperational Oversight
Oversee day-to-day operations across all locations, ensuring that each center adheres to policies, procedures, and licensing requirementsDevelop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with state regulations, safety standards, and organizational policiesOversee the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes for preschool staff, ensuring high-quality personnel are selected for all rolesEnsure that each location operates efficiently, within budget, and meets key performance indicators (KPIs) related to enrollment, financial performance, and staffingStaff Development & Support
Provide regular professional development opportunities for preschool staff, including directors, teachers, and support personnelDevelop and implement staff training programs to enhance teaching skills, classroom management, and understanding of child developmentAddress and resolve staff performance issues promptly and professionally, conducting regular performance reviews and setting developmental goalsParent & Community Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with parents and families, ensuring their involvement in the preschool community and their child’s educationDevelop and implement strategies for effective communication with parents regarding their children’s progress, school events, and school policiesServe as the main point of contact for parents when issues arise and ensure that complaints or concerns are addressed in a timely and professional mannerPartner with community organizations, businesses, and local entities to enhance the educational experience and build the reputation of the preschool programStrategic Planning & Growth
Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic goals for the region, including new programs, enrollment growth, and resource allocationIdentify opportunities for expanding services, improving operational efficiencies, and increasing enrollment at each locationLead initiatives to improve the region’s performance, including conducting assessments, analyzing data, and implementing corrective actions as necessaryCompliance & Safety
Ensure all locations meet state and federal regulations, including health, safety, and licensing requirementsOversee the implementation of safety protocols and emergency procedures, ensuring the well-being of children and staffMaintain up-to-date knowledge of early childhood education regulations and licensing requirements and ensure compliance across all locationsQualifications
REQUIRED Leadership Experience : Proven ability to lead multiple locations, manage frontline leaders, and drive business results.REQUIRED Multi-Site Experience : At least 3-5 years of multi-unit operations leadership experience, preferably in healthcare, retail, hospitality, or other service based industries.REQUIRED Business acumen : ability to use data to drive decisions and accountabilityREQUIRED Compliance Experience : overseeing audits, or managing regulated environments.Must meet background check eligibilityNote : This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
